BRIDGES, POWER PLANTS, AND TRAINS?: Israel Warns Iranian Civilians to Avoid Train Travel
Today is the day Donald Trump has threatened to blow up Iran’s bridges and power plants, which could lead to the deaths of millions, if the Iranians do not “Open the Fuckin’ Strait [of Hormuz].” Israel may join the assault by attacking the country’s train lines.
The IDF is warning Iranian civilians not to travel by train on Tuesday, writing on social media that doing so could put their lives at risk.
“Dear citizens, for the sake of your security, we kindly request that from this moment until 21:00 Iran time, you refrain from using and traveling by train throughout Iran,” the Israeli military posted on X this morning. “Your presence on trains and near railway lines endangers your life.”
Biased-beyond-belief Israel defenders will say this message shows the IDF’s humanity because it had the decency to warn innocents before blasting them to smithereens. Their spin will ignore the fact that not attacking civilian infrastructure in the first place is also an option. But apparently that is too much to ask.
