GET ‘EM OUT: Trump Fires Pam Bondi
Donald Trump announced the abrupt firing of Pam Bondi on Thursday, removing his Attorney General from office after nearly 15 months on the job.
“Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year,” the president wrote on Truth Social. “Pam did a tremendous job… We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much-needed and important new job in the private sector.”
Despite the positivity of Trump’s message, the change is reportedly the result of months of White House frustration with Bondi. Although there is no personal “bad blood” between the president and the now-former AG, administration officials were angry with Bondi’s botching of the Epstein files release, and how it portrayed the president as a pedophile protector, the Daily Caller reported.
Todd Blanche, who interviewed Ghislaine Maxwell in prison last year, will serve as Bondi’s interim replacement.
