“Nothing to Hide”: Trump Backs Epstein File Release
Donald Trump now supports releasing the Epstein files.
The president called on House Republicans to vote in favor of disclosing information on the disgraced sex criminal on Sunday, saying he has “nothing to hide” and accusing Democrats of using the case as a distraction from his administration’s accomplishments.
“We have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat 'Shutdown,'" the president wrote on Truth Social. "All I do care about is that Republicans get BACK ON POINT” on issues like inflation, affordability, and immigration, he added.
The House is likely to pass the Epstein Files Transparency Act this week. The bill aims to force the DOJ to release all Epstein-related unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials.
