Despite ceasefire, U.S. and Iran Trade Strikes
If you were hoping the war in Iran would be over soon, you may be disappointed. Iran said it targeted an American airbase today in response to new U.S. attacks that it called a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire.
The latest exchange raised doubts about efforts to end the war and reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Hours earlier, President Trump signaled an agreement between the two sides wasn’t close, and that he wouldn’t be pressured into making a deal.
